The top-of-the-line Tech-1 Z from Alpinestars was developed with input and feedback from professional F1 and WEC drivers. The super-light perforated leather upper is cut to fit and flex with your foot. The Tech 1-Z feels more like a sock than a shoe. The seamless, tubular-knit fire-resistant lining even ends in an ankle cuff like a sock.

The innovative speed-closure system (developed for MotoGP and bike racing) is quick and simple to operate: Instead of tying laces, simply pull the Kevlar® cable "laces" and push down on the lock to hold them tight. A single hook-and-loop strap across the ankle supports the shoe while protecting the lock against accidental release. The strap is also located lower than on other brands to allow full ankle movement. This v3 generation has a revised one-piece ankle cup for additional support while allowing the foot to move and flex naturally. SFI 3.3 approved. Whole sizes 5 through 13 and half sizes 7.5 through 10.5.

Available in 6 modern color combinations:
Black is black with white and silver Alpinestars logos and accent stripes.
Black/Red is black with red soles, white Alpinestars logos, and red accent stripes (pictured).
Black/Yellow is black with yellow soles, white and silver Alpinestars logos, and fluorescent yellow accent stripes.
Silver is metallic light grey with red soles, black and whilte Alpinestars logos, and red accent stripes.
White is white with black soles, black Alpinestars logos, and black accent stripes.
Yellow is fluorescent yellow with black soles, black and white Alpinestars logos, and black accent stripes.

Accent stripes and Alpinestars and "1Z" logo graphics are all printed on for lightest weight and minimal impact on fire protection and durability.
