The Alpinestars Hypertech v2 is a top-level driver's suit designed for comfort. Two layers of flame-retardant aramid fabrics protect while remaining light and breathable. Stretch panels at the elbows, waist, knees, and in the crotch provide freedom of movement and ventilation. The zippers and cuffs are extra-light to keep weight to a minimum. Even the Alpinestars logos are printed (not embroidered) to eliminate excess weight and bulk. The ultra-light fabrics weigh just 265 grams per square meter.
The matte (non-shiny) outer layer is available in four color combinations:
Black/Orange is black with fluorescent orange-trimmed white epaulets and white inner sleeves.
Black/Red is black with red epaulets.
Gray is medium grey with white-trimmed black epaulets, black inner sleeves, and black outer forearms.
White is white with red epaulets.
All colors have black stretch inserts and black wrist and ankle cuffs. All colors except White have white Alpinestars and "astar" logos on the shins and lower back (White has black shin logos and red logos on the back).
