The Atom from Alpinestars is a pro-level driver's suit at a club racing price. The Atom is cut with more of a relaxed fit than most other European suits to better fit the American body. Two layers of flame-retardant aramid fabrics provide excellent protection. Extensive use of knit stretch panels (lower back, waist, crotch, and shoulders) allows excellent freedom of movement with cooling ventilation. Even the collar incorporates knit stretch material for comfort. An adjustable waist belt and thigh pockets increase its utility outside the car. The knit ankle cuffs on this version are ideal for lay-down sports racers and formula cars.

The twill (not shiny) outer layer is available in four bold yet restrained color combinations:
Anthracite/Red (Haas F1 colors) is meduim grey with red inserts on the sleeves, torso sides, and calves; black sleeves and shoulder yoke; and white Alpinestars logos, epaulets, and trim.
Black is basic black all over, with white epaulets and white Alpinestars logos.
Black/Silver is black with very light grey (almost white) inserts on the sleeves, torso sides, and calves; and white epaulets and Alpinestars logos.
Silver/Yellow (shown) is very light grey (almost white) with medium grey inserts on the sleeves, torso sides, and calves; black sleeves and shoulder yoke; and fluorescent yellow epaulets and Alpinestars logos.

All colors have black knit material for the cuffs, stretch knit inserts, and collar lining. The custom-looking design is still simple enough to leave you a blank canvas for sponsor patches and logos.
