The Tech 1-ZX glove is the top of the Alpinestars line. The latest v2 generation is more than just a refinement, it also includes some new tech features.
Special printed grip material across the palm, thumb, and fingers provide traction without bulk. The inside of the palm also has a lightly sprayed coating of latex to prevent your hand from slipping around inside the glove. The inner and outer layers of flame-retardant aramid fabric are bonded together for an even more secure feel.
Reversed stitching on the four fingers and the sides of the hand reduce pressure points while gripping the wheel. The thumb seams are standard (internal), so you can get a better view and feel when pressing buttons on the steering wheel. The tip of the index finger and thumb have a patch of special material that lets you operate touchscreens without taking the gloves off.
Precurved fingers further reduce bunching when gripping the wheel. All graphics are printed (not embroidered) to reduce excess weight. Even the FIA homologation tag is printed on the gauntlet. A mid-length straight-cut gauntlet and elastic wrist round out the package. Homologated to the latest FIA 8856-2018 standard and SFI 3.3/5 approved.
All colors have a black palm, cuff trim, and material between the fingers; all colors except Black/Red and Red have a black gauntlet. The printed grip material is a mix of white and the gloves' accent color:
Anthracite/Yellow is grey with white and fluorescent yellow Alpinestars logos and accents.
Black/Anthracite is black with white and grey Alpinestars logos and accents.
Black/Orange is black with white and orange Alpinestars logos and accents.
Black/Red is black with white, grey, and red Alpinestars logos and accents. Gauntlet is grey.
Navy/Red is dark blue with white, grey, and red Alpinestars logos and accents.

To find glove size, measure around the largest part of the hand over the knuckles while making a fist, excluding the thumb.
