Rear helmet spoilers combat helmet lift by filling in the area behind the top of the helmet. They are especially effective in open cars with a cowling behind the driver's head. The spoiler smooths the transition between the helmet and the cowling, filling in the low-pressure area.

This clear plastic spoiler adheres to your helmet with double-stick tape (provided) that is strong enough to hold, but not so strong that it will take off paint when removed. This model is specifically designed to fit SA2020 and SA2025 Bell HP7, HP77, RS7 helmets as well as the SA2025 K1 Sport and M8 Sport. (You could probably make it fit other brands with a little work.) Cutouts in the back side allow air to escape from vent openings in the back of your helmet.

Note: Depending on the size of your helmet, you may need to loosen or tighten the curvature of the spoiler slightly to fit the shell. Warming the plastic by leaving it in the sun for an hour or so will help make it conform.

Sizing:
The size refers to the depth measured at the center of the spoiler. Wind-tunnel testing shows that lower speeds generally call for the largest size, while smaller sizes work well at higher speeds.
Small (180 MPH+): 38mm
Medium (150-180 MPH): 43.5mm
Large (up to 150 MPH): 49mm
