Pre-Assembled Black Poly Coated Size 4 Braided PTFE Hoses

PTFE-lined -4 size hose with a stainless steel outer braid is perfect for racing clutch hoses. This size was engineered to be the equivalent to 1/4" OD steel tubing. The -4 size is also a great choice for racing brake hoses in applications that require more fluid flow such as drum brakes or very large calipers (the smaller -3 size will provide a firmer pedal in most applications). If you need some of the common hose lengths, you can save yourself the bother of having to assemble them yourself by ordering our pre-assembled braided stainless PTFE hoses.

These hoses have a Stealth Black coating over the stainless steel braid and plated steel hose ends which are permanently crimped on (the hose ends cannot be removed or changed). Female ends (straight and 90 degree) are standard 4AN 7/16-20 UNF thread, 37° concave flare) with a swiveling female nut for easy installation. All hoses are proof tested to 3,000 psi before shipment.

We carry an extensive selection of Brake Adapter Fittings to connect these AN lines to SAE and metric plumbing threads.
