Motul 8100 Eco-LITE is a 100% synthetic engine oil. The API SN standard requires superior cleanliness and protection against oxidation, wear, and deposits compared to the previous SM standard. The ILSAC GF-5 standard goes even further to require better fuel economy, extended drain intervals, and increased engine protection when running E85 fuel. The GM standard is the toughest of all, requiring everything from the other two, plus specific fuel economy benefits and higher thermal resistance to prevent viscosity shift. GM dexos1 oils are required for GM gasoline engines from model year 2011 and later.
Eco-LITE 0W-20 also meets the performance requirements of Chrysler MS-6395 and Ford M2C 947-A.
Eco-LITE 5W-20 also meets the performance requirements of Chrysler MS-6395, Ford M2C 930-A and M2C 945-A, and GM 6094A.
Eco-LITE 5W-30 also meets the performance requirements of Chrysler MS-6395 and Ford M2C 929-A and M2C 946-A.
