The ACEA A3/B4 standard requires extreme detergents and dispersants to combat viscosity increase from contaminants, allowing greater drain intervals. By meeting or exceeding both of those standards, Motul 6100 Synergie+ 10W-40 also carries approvals from Mercedes-Benz (229.3), Renault (RN0700 and RN0710), and VW (502 00 - 505 00).
