Fire-resistant undergarments provide a dramatic increase in protection when worn with a driver's suit. Flame resistant underwear and socks are required by many race sanctioning bodies.
The OMP Tecnica Evo long underwear top is designed with input from pro racers. It is made of a very smooth single layer soft knit blend of flame-retardant aramid fibers. Special extra-breathable "3D knit" areas are strategically placed to allow perspiration to evaporate without sacrificing protection. These areas are positioned to line up with corresponding breathable inserts in OMP One and OMP Tecnica Evo driving suits. A low mock turtleneck and ultra-flat seams add to comfort. FIA 8856-2018 homologated. Available in White (natural off-white) or Black, each with a contrasting OMP logo on the front of the neck.
Note: This top has a slim, athletic cut with increased elasticity to avoid bunching and bagginess. It is designed to be a tight stretch fit.
