The new OMP GT-EV is a great choice for racers who wear glasses, or who simply prefer a wider field of vision.

The huge EV (Extended Vision) opening is complemented by a very low-cut chin bar. This not only provides more room for glasses, it also helps to reduce claustrophobia, while also providing a better view of the gauges. Direct-flow forehead vents and upper chin bar vents combine with rear-facing lower chin bar vents for superior ventilation to prevent fogging.

The GT-EV is ready to accept your head restraint anchors, with industry-standard M6 female threaded inserts factory-installed in the shell (anchors sold separately). Includes one clear face shield with a color-keyed visor strip. Available in gloss White (WHT) or Matte Black (MBK). Snell SA2025 approved.

SA2025 is the latest Snell Foundation rating for automotive racing helmets. This helmet rating has been developed to provide the best safety protection for auto racing drivers who are restrained in their vehicles. SA2025 helmets are tested for flame retardance, and additional tests ensure that the factory-installed M6 threaded inserts can handle loads from an FHR. An SA-rated helmet may not meet DOT specifications for street use, such as on motorcycles.

SIZING: Helmets should fit as snug as possible without causing discomfort. Measure head circumference around the largest part of the head approximately one inch above the eyebrows and just above the ears. If a one or two layer Nomex hood will be worn with the helmet, it should be worn when measuring head circumference. If a hood is not available, add about 1/4 inch to the circumference measurement for a single layer hood and 1/2 inch for a double layer hood.
