Plastic toolboxes are cheap, but let's face it: They're CHEAP! You'll probably have to replace your plastic toolboxes more than once. Why not do it right the first time and get a proper toolbox that you can hand down to your kids? The Beta Tools C19 toolbox features sturdy steel construction for more than a lifetime of professional use.

The two upper trays lift up and out of the way for easy access to the big lower compartment, but the cantilever design keeps them upright so you don't need to worry about spilling your tools. They also stay attached to the box, so you don't have to search for a place to put down a lift-out tray. Plus they stay completely above the lower compartment when you close the lids, rather than taking up valuable space inside. The lids on the upper trays open independently, allowing access to just the upper trays, just the lower compartment, or all three at once.

The heavy-duty tubular carry handle folds down for compact storage. A hole through both lids accepts a paddlock for security. Unlike a plastic box, the lock doesn't go through a fragile plastic hasp that can be easily broken off.

The C19 measures 18" long x 8" wide x 6" high (10" with handle up). The lower compartment measures 3 3/4" deep, and each cantilevered tray measures 1 1/8" deep x 3 3/4" wide. Weighs just 7.5 pounds empty. Beta orange with a single black-and-white Beta logo inside one lid. Tools sold separately.

Best Cantilever Box Out There

I use my Beta C19 as a toolbox for the road and racing events. It holds everything very nicely and is constructed tough as nails. Here's a tip, get some strong magnets and place them on the sides of the bottom area. This allows you to place wrenches or pliers where you can see them versus just letting them slide around in the box. You can also use magnets in the upper areas to hold sockets and ratchets in place.

Beta Tools C19

I use the Beta C19 to carry essential tools(ratchets, sockets, screwdrivers, combo wrenches, pliers, etc...) to a job. Since this is my first exposure to an all-metal cantilever tool box, I very much appreciate the slide out sections which provide a clear view of one's tools with minimal stacking. It appears to be well made, the sections slide out relatively smoothly and I consider it to be a good value. After this pleasant experience, I have no plans of going back to plastic or regular metal portable tool boxes.

Beta Tools C19-Section Tool box

Very handy. I use two to break out the weight from one box so I can take it to races with more ease and ability to find tools in a timely manner
