Don't let a scratched or pockmarked lens ruin your videos! This is a replacement outer lens for the first-generation AiM SmartyCam HD (Part No. MC-549). Since this lens is exposed, it will be the first to be damaged by flying rocks, bugs, and other debris. If the SmartyCam HD is not protected by a windscreen, you should check the lens before each event.
Complete kit includes the glass outer lens and a sealing O-ring which goes between the outer lens and the inner lens. One kit repairs one SmartyCam HD.
Note: This is the small (20mm / 0.8" OD) lens used on the first-generation SmartyCam HD, available from 2013 until late 2014. It does not fit the later SmartyCam HD Rev. 2, introduced fall of 2014. The first-generation can be identified by a 7/8" diameter lens assembly with either 67° or 84° field of view, and a viewfinder that is flush with the front surface of the case. The later SmartyCam HD Rev. 2 has a much larger (35mm / 1 3/8" OD) lens with a ring indicating either 60° or 120° field of view, and a cover over the viewfinder held on by 8 screws. These later cameras require the larger Replacement Outer Lens for SmartyCam HD Version 2 (Part No. MC-583).
Also does not fit original SmartyCam, SmartyCam GP, or SmartyCam HD GP.
