This compact, solid-state switching unit is designed to take the place of an entire array of circuit breakers, fuses, and relays! Four separate channels can handle up to a 10 amp load with automatic overload protection. One unit is ideal for the simple switching demands of most racing motorcycles and purpose-built sprint racing cars. Use two or more in parallel for vehicles requiring more circuits. Trigger your ignition system, rain light, and fuel pump directly from the module. For heavier loads, use the module to trigger a relay or solenoid.
A single M6 input stud accepts battery positive voltage from 7 to 18 volts. Each circuit has a standard 1/4" male spade output terminal to accept standard female push-on terminals. Switches (not included) connect all at once through a single 4-pin screw-on connector (2-meter pigtail lead with mating connector is included). Dual-color LEDs on the top indicate status on each channel (on, off, or fault) for easy troubleshooting. No configuration is required. Just make the connections and you're done! Circuits can be triggered by conventional on-off switches (sold separately) or by digital outputs from data acquisition systems (such as the AiM MXL 2 / MXG / MXS Data Loggers) or modern computerized gauges.
The base module measures just 90mm x 42mm x 10.5mm thick (3 9/16" x 1 5/8" x 7/16" thick) not including the connectors on the top surface. The module weighs just 80g (3 oz). Draws 0.02 Amps when all circuits are turned off. Note that this will add a parasitic draw to your electrical system, but because no configuration is required, you can disconnect the battery for storage without having to reprogram anything.
