Magnetic Plug, Cap Screw Type 1/2-20

Magnetic plugs are a small investment that can help to prevent damage and wear in engines and gearboxes. Use them to replace standard oil gallery plugs and drain plugs in oil tanks, cooling systems and transmissions. They provide an easy way to check for unusual wear which may precede a failure.

This plug has 1/2-20 UNF straight threads and requires a sealing washer such as our Stat-O-Seal (Part No. 3245-1/2) or Copper Crush Washer (Part No. 3241-1/2). Sold individually; sealing washers sold separately.
