Threaded Plugs & Caps

Metal port plugs and plastic dust caps with AN, BSP, or NPT threads

Plastic caps and plugs are intended to keep dust and debris out of hoses and other plumbing parts during storage (and minimize leakage from used parts). Aluminum or steel caps and plugs should be used whenever pressure is to be contained. Equivalent AN numbers are given for reference where applicable. These fittings conform to JIC and SAE specifications.

Note: AN and BSP nomenclature can be confusing because the nominal sizes do not refer to the outside diameter of the threads. If you are not sure if you have AN or BSP threads, check in our Threaded Fitting Guide.
