AN Plastic Flare Cap (threaded, not push-on type)

These plastic caps are designed to keep dust and dirt out of male AN fittings during storage. They also keep your work area cleaner by minimizing fluid leakage. The plastic construction can even help to protect the critical sealing surface from minor damage. Keep a batch on hand so you'll be ready whenever you need to disconnect AN hoses.

Threaded caps such as these are preferred over the non-threaded push-on type for their added security. Threaded caps are much less prone to falling off when the parts are handled.

Note: These caps do not have an internal sealing flare. They are not designed to hold pressure or to create a fluid-tight seal.
