ARP High Performance Series main bolts are made from 8740 chrome moly steel, heat-treated to 180,000 psi tensile strength with threads that are rolled (not cut) after heat treatment (not before) for superior strength and precision.

This set fits the 385-Series 429/460 big-block Ford V8 engine with 2-bolt main caps. Includes main studs, matching hardened washers and nuts, and a packet of ARP assembly lube.
