Ford "Modular" V8 engines feature cross-bolted main caps for improved bottom-end rigidity. ARP Pro Series side bolts are manufactured from 8740 chrome moly steel, heat-treated to 200,000 psi tensile strength with J-form threads that are rolled (not cut) after heat treatment (not before) for unmatched strength and precision.

This kit includes ten M9 bolts with 12-point heads and special washers to fit later aluminum 4.6L and 5.4L blocks as well as the "Coyote" 5.0L engine. Note that earlier blocks used M8 bolts.

Not for use on Boss 5.0L Modular engines.
