Replace your cylinder head bolts with high-strength ARP head bolts for improved head gasket sealing under the most demanding conditions!
ARP cylinder head bolts are made from ARP2000 alloy (stronger than 8740 chrome moly steel), heat-treated to 220,000 psi tensile strength with J-form threads that are rolled (not cut) after heat treatment (not before) for unmatched strength and precision.
This set fits later VW/Audi water-cooled 1.8T 20v 4-cylinder turbo engines (all but AEB engine code), including 2000 and later VW Beetle/Passat and 2000 and later Audi A4. Includes ten M10 cylinder head bolts with matching washers, and a packet of ARP assembly lube.
Note: The star-drive bolts in this kit require a special ARP Head Bolt Socket for VW 1.8T, Part No. ARP920-0002 (sold separately). This kit is intended for mechanics who already have the special socket required.
