High-strength ARP studs are manufactured of 8740 chrome moly alloy steel, heat-treated to 180,000 psi tensile strength. The threads are rolled (not cut) after heat treatment (not before) for consistent, accurate dimensions and extra resistance to stripping.

The studs in this kit are designed to mount the bellhousing to the block on Chevy V-8 and Keith Black Hemi engines. Each stud measures 3/8" diameter x 2" long. The special bullet nose design helps to guide the bellhousing in place, while also minimizing the chance of cross-threading the nuts. Set of eight studs with matching 12-point nuts and flat washers is enough to mount one bellhousing.
