Thermo-Tec Stainless Steel Clamp-On Heat Shield, 24" x 6"

Why wrap your entire exhaust when you only need to keep heat away from one small area? The Thermo-Tec heat shield is a great insulating solution for situations where you don't want to use conventional header wrap.

This stainless steel shield covers just one section of your exhaust system (up to 2 feet long), insulating against radiant heat just where you need it. The "quilted" construction makes the shield flexible enough to be used along a bend. A special factory-applied Thermo-Tec coating on one side helps to block up to 95% of radiant heat. Stand-off posts hold the shield away from your exhaust tubing to minimize conducted heat.

Installs easily using included mounting clamps. 6" x 24" shield will wrap almost all the way around a 1 3/4" OD pipe, or about halfway around a 3" pipe (larger pipes will require larger diameter clamps than those included in the kit).
