This fully weatherproof pushbutton switch is the same as the heavy-duty switch used in Longacre Pre-Wired Switch Panels, except the entire body is sealed against the weather. This makes it an ideal choice for installations where the back of the switch is not protected against moisture. It is designed for use as a starter switch, but it can be used for many other momentary-contact applications up to 15 amps (add a relay for applications with higher current draw).
Mounts in a 5/8" diameter hole. The rubber cover has a 1.1" OD metal ring at the base. Requires 1 3/4" clearance behind the dash panel. Projects 7/8" from the front of the panel. Maximum OD of the body is 1 5/16". Two #8 screw terminals are located on the end of the switch body (ring terminals included for 16-14 AWG wire are included).
