These high-strength M10x1.0 x 26.5mm bolts from Ford Racing are designed specifically for mounting the flywheel (manual transmission) to the crankshaft on Ford 4.6L and 5.4L Modular V-8 engines. Set of 8 bolts is enough for one engine.

The castellated head on these bolts is designed to provide some "spring" to help maintain preload on the bolts, but the use of a thread locking compound (sold separately) is still mandatory. Torque by hand to 54-64 lb-ft (73-86.5 Nm).

Note 1: Does not fit 5.0L Coyote or any pushrod engines.

Note 2: Ford 4.6L engines built at the Romeo engine plant (8th VIN code digit "W") used 6-bolt crankshafts. These engines will have 2 bolts left over. Most (but not all) Windsor-built 4.6L engines (8th digit "X") and all 5.4L engines have 8-bolt cranks and will use all of the bolts in this kit. Some early Windsor-built 4.6L engines (approx. 1996-99) actually used Romeo-spec 6-bolt cranks. Either way, this kit will have you covered!
