This twin-signal linear pedal position sensor is the same unit supplied with many obp Motorsport "Pro Race" and "Track-Pro" Drive By Wire (DBW) pedal boxes. With a little modification, you can also adapt it to most obp throttle pedals designed for cable actuation.
Dual signals offer safety through redundancy. Some ECUs average the two signals for a smoother throttle response curve. The sensor can be wired so that the signals are opposed (one rises as the other falls; the two signals should always add up to 100%) or parallel (both rise and fall together; both signals should always match). Sold individually. Mounting hardware is not included.
This sensor can also be wired as a single-signal sensor if required. Simply tape off the second signal output wire.
