This is the same spring and buffer set as supplied on new Talbot Berlin 300 Series mirrors. The same spring fits either Junior or Senior mirrors and will fit either right or left side. If your mirror glass is loose inside the cup, your spring might have worn out. If the spring gets too loose, it can allow the lens retaining ring to fall out, leading to a loss of the glass (and the spring and buffer).
Each kit includes one spring and one cork buffer pad, enough for one mirror. The spring fits between the mirror glass and the large metal disc inside the housing to hold the glass tight against the retaining ring. The cork pad fits between the spring and the glass to protect the mirror silvering from scratches.
