If you want to expand the capabilities of your AiM MXS 1.2 Strada, MXP Strada, or MXG 1.2 Strada Street Dash by turning into a data logging dash, the Strada Logger will make it happen!
The Strada series dashes were designed by AiM without any logging capability, for use on the street and in dual-purpose cars. The Strada Logger module is designed specifically to add data recording capability to the 1.2 generation of AiM Strada dashes. Simply plug the module into the CAN expansion plug (labeled "EXP") in the primary harness* and add an SD memory card (not included)**. The dash will automatically detect the Strada Logger module and will begin logging data for analysis using Race Studio software.
The data is recorded in the same file format as all other AiM loggers, so you can compare your data with anyone else running an AiM logger. The Strada Logger can also be used with the 1.2 generation of data logging dashes (MXS 1.2, MXP, MXG 1.2) as an alternative to the Memory Module. The SD card can be removed with the car still running, so it can be swapped quickly during a pit stop.
Compatible with the latest "1.2" generation of dashes (MXS 1.2 Strada, MXP Strada, and MXG 1.2 Strada) only. Not compatible with original MXL Strada, MXL2, MXS Strada, or MXG Strada. Requires firmware 2.26.48 or later.
* If you already have an expansion plugged into the EXP cable, you will also need to add an AiM CAN Data Hub (Part No. MC-329, sold separately) to add more EXP ports.
** For best results, AiM recommends a maximum size of 4GB and a minimum speed of class 10. The card must be manually formatted as FAT32 before use (the Strada Logger module is not able to format memory cards).
