While most ice-based active driver cooling systems circulate plain water, Chillout designed the Quantum Cooler to circulate a special biodegradable coolant mix. This Cooling Formula concentrate was developed specifically to conduct heat while protecting the circulation pump, tubing, and seals in the Chillout systems.
Simply mix 1 part Cooling Formula to 1 part distilled water. The 1.5 liter packet is more than enough to fill a typical Chillout system. Bring the leftover coolant mix to the track with you to top off the system as needed. The Cooling Formula contains a fungicidal ingredient, but Chillout recommends draining and replacing the coolant mix at least once each season to keep the fungicide active. Chillout Cooling Formula is non-toxic, food-grade, and biodegradable for easy disposal.
