Simply plug the SPS-12 into your OBDII port before disconnecting the battery. The SPS-12 not only provides a constant power supply to preserve settings and memory, it can even alert you to a parasitic draw or short circuit! Ten LEDs indicate power in, status, and the level of current being drawn. Runs on AC power (110-240 VAC, 50/60Hz) and supplies regulated 14 volt power at a maximum of 4 Amps, enough to keep electronics awake but low enough to be safe. The included OBDII port works with all OBDII-compliant vehicles (generally street cars built after 1995).
