This special bracket kit from AiM is designed specifically to mount four MyChron IR Tire Temperature Sensors (Part No. MC-352, sold separately) to your racing kart.
The two "front" brackets are designed to mount to the steering arm on the spindle, so the sensor can follow the tire as you turn the steering wheel. The two "rear" brackets are designed to clamp onto chassis tubes. Because of the wide variety of chassis designs, some drilling, fitting, and minor adapting may be required (do not expect a simple bolt-on installation).* Includes necessary mounting hardware (including screws to mount the sensors to the brackets). Heavy-gauge aluminum construction for durability with a minimum of weight.
With some modifications, this kit could also be used as the basis for mounting IR tire temp sensors to a car.
* One hole in the front brackets is left undrilled so that you can drill it to match your steering arm. At a minimum, you will need to drill two holes 5mm diameter (3/16" or SAE #8 drill bit).
