The use of even higher-tech materials allows them to take up to 3 times as much heat as a stock timing belt, while premium elastomer composites and aramid-reinforced teeth make them up to 300% stronger than standard timing belts. The extra strength and endurance can make the critical difference in high-revving interference engines.

This Gates Racing Performance timing belt fits 1990-2005 Mazda MX-5 Miata (NA and NB chassis, 1600cc B6 and 1800cc BP engines). It does not fit 2006 and later NC chassis with MZR engines. Sold individually.
