CarbMate eliminates floats, dials, and liquids and instead uses a medical-grade Motorola pressure transducer to precisely measure and compare vacuum between two cylinders, with up to 0.5 cmHg accuracy. Simply connect the two fuel-resistant hoses to a manifold vacuum port behind each throttle and connect CarbMate to a 12 volt DC power supply. Nine LEDs show you, without any guesswork or math, which cylinder is pulling more vacuum. If the center green LED is lit, the two throttles are in perfect sync. Works with carburetors or fuel injection throttles. Instructions are even printed right on the case.
The accuracy is adjustable from 2 to 0.5 cmHg (0.5 cmHG is recommended by most motorcycle and outboard marine engine builders). A Zero knob lets you center the display before use for perfect results.
