Charge Air Cooler (CAC) hose is specifically designed to handle the higher temperatures and pressures in high-performance turbo and supercharged applications. Four layers of aramid reinforcement and 3 reinforcing rings allow operating pressures of 42 psi (170 psi burst pressure) and temperatures up to 500° F (260° C). This temperature rating is perfect for the "hot" (pre-intercooler) side of the system. This hose is color-coded Orange for easy identification.

This hose is a straight coupler measuring 6 inches (150mm) long overall. It is designed specifically for connecting 3 3/4" (95mm) OD metal intake pipes, absorbing slight misalignment and vibrations. The 5mm wall thickness results in a 4 1/8" (105mm) OD. Sold individually.

Note: Silicone hose is not compatible with liquid fuel or oil of any type! It will withstand exposure to an air-fuel mixture and will survive occasional oil spills, but constant exposure to pure petroleum will destroy the silicone rubber.
