Ivey Prepared 1.6L SCAT Connecting Rods, Set of 4

Ford stopped manufacturing new connecting rods for the 1600 Kent engine many years ago. These brand-new, race-prepared SCAT connecting rods are SCCA-legal for Formula Ford 1600!

These super-strong forged rods have the same center-to-center length, bearing bores, and width as the originals. The H-beam design is forged from 4340 chrome moly steel for use in racing applications. The small-end bushings are already installed. Each set is expertly prepared for a perfect drop-in fit and balanced for racing use by Ivey Engines.

These rods take standard Connecting Rod Bearings (Part No. 1501, sold separately) and fit the standard Ford crankshaft. SCCA legal for Formula Ford 1600. Set of 4 connecting rods includes ARP rod bolts.

Note: These rods work with the standard "wide journal" crankshaft (26.85mm width). They are not for use with aftermarket "narrow journal" crankshafts (23.7mm width) sometimes used on Cosworth and Lotus twin cam engines.
