1/2 NPT to 5/8 Hose Barb, Silver Aluminum, Straight

This straight aluminum adapter is useful for connecting 5/8" or 16mm ID rubber fuel line to a 1/2 NPT female port. Use with standard worm drive hose clamps. Blue anodized aluminum. Sold individually.

The single barb on this fitting is not very aggressive, so this fitting is recommended for use in low-pressure systems (below 50 psi) only. A hose clamp must be used.

Note: NPT nomenclature can be confusing because the nominal size refers to the inside diameter of the pipe, not the outside diameter of the threads. Male 1/2 NPT threads measure over 3/4" OD. For more information, check in our Guide to Using NPT Fittings.
