Weber 40 IDA 3C Main Venturi, 34mm

These main venturis will fit the 3-barrel Weber 40 IDA3-series carburetors only*. They will not fit the 2-barrel 40 IDA. The 34mm ID size is the same size as OEM jetting for Ferrari BB (replaces Weber part number 34894.002) and is 2 steps larger than for Porsche 911L and 3 steps larger than for Porsche 911T. Sold individually, 3 required per carburetor.

What size do I need?

The venturi size is the first step (after choosing the carburetor) in tuning a Weber carburetor to your application. It is tempting to use the largest size for the most airflow, but this can hurt performance. Too much airflow impairs low-end driveability. In fact, the car may not start or idle at all. And remember that the engine has a limit to how much air it can use. Feeding it more will not produce more power.

* Note: Fits Weber 40 IDA3 / 40 IDT3 models (as used on most Porsche 911 and 914/6) and Weber 40 IF3C (as used on Ferrari BB). Does not fit Weber 40 IDL as used on Lamborghini Muira or 40 IDS as used on Porsche 911S. Not designed to fit aftermarket "work-alike" versions of the 40 IDA3 not manufactured by Weber.
