AiM 4-Tire Infra-Red Temperature Kit for MyChron5S/MyChron6

Why wait until the end of the session to find out your tire temperatures? This tire temperature kit from AiM uses infra-red energy to measure the tread temperature in real time!

Each compact 27mm x 17mm (1 1/16" x 11/16") sensor is easy to mount near the wheel. The 35 degree field of view can measure inside, middle, or outside temperatures if mounted close enough to the tire. Mounted far enough away, it can measure the entire tread width at once. Temperature range -20°C to 120°C (-4°F to 248°F).

An AiM ACC3 translates the analog temperature signals to CAN data and connects to your AiM MyChron5S or MyChron6 (sold separately) via the CAN "EXP" port. It can also connect in parallel with other CAN expansions using an AiM CAN Data Hub (sold separately).

Kit includes 4 sensors, ACC3 unit with 4x 719 analog sensor harness, two 2m (6.6 ft) sensor extension cables, two 1m (3.3 ft) sensor extension cables, one ACC3 Dedicated Split Harness to connect to your M5S/M6 dash, and the AiM 5-Pin 712 to Power Supply Cable to connect to your external battery. Requires 9 to 15 V DC external power supply (not included).

This kit is optimised for use with AiM MyChron5S or MyChron6 kart dashes. Not compatible with MyChron5 or earlier. AiM auto loggers can also use this kit but may not need the extra DC power input.

This kit replaces the AiM MyChron 4-Tire Temp + Controller Kit X08TTK014120, formerly Pegasus Part No. MC-072.
