This is the bolt that holds the accelerator pump jet (sold separately) in place in dual-throat Weber IDA carburetors. It looks like a plugged banjo bolt, but it houses a one-way check valve for the accelerator pump circuit. If the valve sticks closed, the accelerator pump circuit will be clogged. If it sticks open, raw fuel may be pulled into the carb throat under vacuum, causing a difficult-to-diagnose rich running condition. Sold individually; each carburetor requires 2.
Fits all Weber IDA series including dual-throat 46 IDA and 48 IDA and the 3-throat IDA3 series. Weber part number 64290.005, supercedes part number 64290.003. Note that the old part number only fit the IDA Dual series; this version fits both dual- and triple-throat series.
Note: Fits genuine Weber (made in Italy or made in Spain) carburetors only! Does not fit most copies, Asian knock-offs, or work-alikes.
