This special hub requires the Reverse Hub Spacer for 4 Speed Mk 8, 9 (Part No. 1410-A42-1, sold separately). It is designed for use in a Hewland or Webster 4-speed Mk8 or Mk9 gearbox with a 9/16" thick Mk 4 first gear (we do not offer Mk 4 gears).
If standard 1/2" thick Mk 9 gears are used, then you should use the standard 1st/Reverse Hub for Mk 9 (Part No. 1410-A42-95) instead.
With spacer, this part replaces Hewland part number HC8-4-226.
