Webster Dog Ring (Clutch Ring) for Mk-Series Gearbox

Don't risk expensive engine damage because of a missed shift caused by worn dog clutch rings. If your dog ring lugs have rounded to more than 25% of the lug height, or if they are no longer visibly tapered, they should be replaced. This is the narrow tooth style, designed for easier gear engagement. These dog rings work in Hewland Mk 4 through Mk 9; Staffs; Webster Model 300, 400, and Formula Mazda; and Hewland NST gearboxes to name a few.* Replaces Hewland part number HC232. Sold individually, 2 required per gearbox.

* Other notable gearboxes which take these "HC" type dogs include Hewland F3/F3A, 1988-2001 Dallara, and 1987-91 Reynard F3; Huffaker/Richmond Spridget; Taylor Race Engineering Series 26 Spridget; and TRE Inline.

The "HC" design is dimentionally similar to the LD200 dog ring, but the two are not interchangeable.
