Don't risk expensive engine damage because of a missed shift caused by worn dog clutch rings. If your dog ring lugs have rounded to more than 25% of the lug height, or if they are no longer visibly tapered, they should be replaced. This is the narrow tooth style, designed for easier gear engagement. A unique off-center oil groove in the outer edge promotes lubrication of your shift forks for longer fork life. These dog rings work in Hewland and Webster Mk 8/9, Staffs, and Formula Mazda gearboxes. Replaces Hewland part number HC232.
We also offer the Hewland version of this Dog Clutch Ring, Part No. 1410-A47H.
Not interchangeable with the Dog Clutch Rings for LD200 Gearboxes, Part No. 1422.
Note: Finish may vary from photo at manufacturer's discretion.
