Don't risk expensive engine damage because of a missed shift caused by worn dog clutch rings. If your dog ring lugs have rounded to more than 25% of the lug height, or if they are no longer visibly tapered, they should be replaced. This is the narrow tooth style, designed for easier gear engagement. These dog rings work in Hewland and Webster Mk 4/8/9, Staffs, and Formula Mazda gearboxes. Hewland part number HC232.
We also offer the Webster version of this Dog Clutch Ring, Part No. 1410-A47.
We also offer Dog Clutch Rings for LD200 Gearboxes, Part No. 1422.
