This direct-acting Tilton hydraulic throwout bearing eliminates all lost motion due to cable stretch or linkage flex. The low profile (1.6" setup height) makes it small enough to be adapted to many different installations. Most applications will require fabrication of an adapter plate.
The radius-faced bearing has a 44mm contact diameter for clutches with a 1 5/8" diameter diaphragm spring hole. This includes most QuarterMaster 4.5", 5.5", and 7.25" racing clutches (except 7.25" LGC) and Tilton OT-II (7.25") Racing Clutches. Maximum travel is 0.65 inches, so a clutch pedal stop must be used to prevent damage to the clutch and the engine. Tilton recommends pairing this assembly with a 3/4" bore master cylinder (sold separately).
