This aluminum discriminator valve installs in your vent line, eliminating the need for a catch can to trap overflow while refueling. A float valve closes the vent line if the line fills with fuel. A separate gravity valve closes the vent line in the event of a rollover. 12AN male fittings on each end for easy installation.

Measures 6 1/4" long overall x 2 1/2" OD (upper cap OD 2 3/4"). Inlet and outlet fittings male 12AN (1 1/16-12 UNF threads, 37° convex seat). For inline installation only (not for in-tank installation). Valve must be installed vertically with the taper pointing up. Color and finish may vary from photo. Sold individually.

Note: Discriminator valves only close if the car is upside-down, or if the vent hose is completely full of fuel. They are not designed to prevent small amounts of fuel from sloshing out.
