Loctite® Threadlocker 242® (blue) is a medium strength nutlocker which allows fasteners to be disassembled with hand tools yet prevents loosening under normal circumstances. Temperature limits -65°F to 300°F (-54°C to 150°C). 10ml bottle.

For best results, pre-treat the threads with Loctite 7649 Primer N Surface Activator (Part No. LT-37509, sold separately). This treatment allows the threadlocker to adhere to "inactive" materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, magnesium, titanium, black oxide, zinc plating, and cadmium plating -- which is just about everything racecars are made of!
