This compact discriminator valve eliminates the need for a catch can to trap overflow while refueling. Install the valve in the filler plate of your fuel cell, and connect your 8AN vent hose to it. An internal float valve closes the vent line if the line fills with fuel. A separate internal gravity valve closes the vent line in the event of a rollover. Includes sealing washer and bulkhead mounting nut.

Note: Discriminator valves only close if the car is upside-down, or if the vent hose is completely full of fuel. They are not designed to prevent small amounts of fuel from sloshing out under cornering loads.
