One great advantage to the AiM Solo over other lap timers is that you don't have to connect any wires to use it. That also makes it ideal for use in daily-driven cars, or for moving from one car to another. This mount kit will allow you to mount the Solo to your windshield quickly and securely. When you're finished, simply release the mount and move it to the next car. Installation is as easy as pushing a lever; removal is as easy as lifting the lever! Two pivoting ball joints allow a wide range of adjustment. Two 6mm screw holes match the holes in the standard mounting plate included with the Solo/SoloDL or Solo2/Solo2DL.
Note: You must supply two nuts to attach the Solo mounting plate to this mount. Nuts are not provided with the Solo or with this mount. The screws provided with the Solo have a 4x0.7mm thread.
The kit consists of a suction cup mount, two "diamond ball" plates (ball with a 2-hole diamond-shaped plate attached), an adjustable 2-socket connector arm, and two self-tapping screws (to mount one diamond ball plate to the suction cup). Initial assembly required.
Requires AiM Solo Mounting Plate (Part No. MC-574) or AiM Solo2 Mounting Plate (Part No. MC-674), sold separately. New Solo2 and Solo2DL timers already include the MC-674 mounting plate.
