Brand: AIM Sports

One great advantage to the AiM Solo over other lap timers is that you don't have to connect any wires to use it. That also makes it ideal for use in daily-driven cars, or for moving from one car to another. This mount kit will allow you to mount the Solo to your windshield quickly and securely. When you're finished, simply release the mount and move it to the next car. Installation is as easy as pushing a lever; removal is as easy as lifting the lever! Two pivoting ball joints allow a wide range of adjustment. Two 6mm screw holes match the holes in the standard mounting plate included with the Solo or SoloDL.

Note: You must supply two nuts to attach the Solo mounting plate to this mount. Nuts are not provided with the Solo or with this mount. The screws provided with the Solo have a 4x0.7mm thread.

Requires AiM Solo Mounting Plate (Part No. MC-574), sold separately. New Solo and SoloDL timers already include a mounting plate.

Solid Solo Mount

Nice strong suction cup mount for AIM Solo, perfect for windshield mounting. Easy adjustment.

Works great

The AIM Solo Suction cup worked even better than I thought it would. It held the Solo in position (on the windshield). The entire weekend. I would highly recommend both the Solo unit and the suction cup

Nice Kit

I have not yet tested this under track (high G) conditions but the mount works well for normal street driving. One concern which will depend on your vehicle is where/how it mounts relative to your windshield. I found that in a E36 if placed just right of the A-pillar that it would (on a track) obstruct ones view through left-hand corners. I may try a low-center position in the 997. Otherwise the mount is secure and is quite adjustable with the Aim Solo (DL).
