Rather than use expensive ratcheting tie-down straps on all four corners of a car, use two of these economical Tie Back Straps to anchor one end. Then use two of our 2" Wide Ratchet Tie Down Straps (Part No. 2351, sold separately) to apply the tension.

These single-strap tie downs feature twisted snap hooks at both ends. They remain securely fastened even when the strap is not under tension. The heavy two inch wide polyester webbing allows minimal stretch and extremely long wear. The entire assembly is rated for a 2000 pound working load limit. Sold individually.

Pegasus High Tech Tie Back Straps

Comments about 2 inch Tie Back Strap (specify length):

These two-inch Tie Back Straps are part of a complex multi-functional system for, well, tying things back.
They can be used for tying down your old Alfa to a flat-bed trailer and driving it from Ohio up to Dean Russell the Alfa guru in Detroit.
I'm sure you've used a trailer before. You know you have to get down on your belly and flip the tie-back strap over the rear axle or front suspension and it just isn't easy...unless you're using a Pegasus Tie Back Strap.
This not only works on cars, it works on boats, too. If it's a wood boat, a small one, then you have to make a "spreader" bar and lead the tie back straps up to the come-along.
With the boat up in the air thanks to Pegasus, it's easier to work on the bottom of the boat or on the trailer itself.
High tech? That's about as high tech as you can get when you're talking about old boats and old cars, and you can't do better than Pegasus. -- Carl Goodwin
