Aurora Wide Series PTFE-Lined Spherical Bearing

Brand: Aurora Bearing Company

Wide series bearings have a wider ball and race. Constructed using heat treated and hard chrome plated balls and hard alloy steel, PTFE lined races for unsurpassed strength and durability. The standard (without the "G" suffix) is designed to be retained using a circlip or snap ring (not included). For installations where the bearing will be staked in place, we also offer the same bearings with a Grumman Groove, designated by the "G" at the end of the part number. Aurora PWB-T series.

* Not a typo, the 1/4" bore size has a wider race than the larger 5/16" bore size.

Grumman grooves: "G" in the part number (e.g., 3070-8G) indicates that the bearing race has a Grumman groove and is designed to be staked into a special housing using a press and special Wide Series Spherical Bearing Swaging Tools (Part No. 3078-004, sold separately). Circlip-retained installations can use either grooved or ungrooved versions. The groove doesn't reduce the static load rating.
