These pivoting post anchors feature anodized aluminum base rings with FIA 8858-2010 approval engraved in. Works with any HANS Device with Post Anchor (PA) type tethers. Not for use with the LW2 or QC anchor systems.
The pivoting design allows easy installation on any Snell SA-rated helmet with threaded inserts already installed in the shell (SAH2010, SA2015, and SA2020). You can tighten the center screw without turning the anchor body, so you can keep the anchor pointed in the correct direction. No worries about ending up with a cockeyed anchor! Kit includes two anchors (enough for one helmet), installation tools, and instructions. Nutwashers (the fermale threaded piece that goes inside the helmet) are not included.
Note: This anchor kit works with SA2020, SA2015, and SAH2010 helmets only! Your helmet must have threaded anchors already installed in the shell from the factory (older helmets do not have the necessary inserts). If you have an older helmet without threaded inserts, you will need to add the HANS Nutwashers, Part No. 9589-026 (sold separately).
