Wear-resistant AIB-series bearings feature a heat-treated alloy steel race, coated on the ID and oil coated on the OD for corrosion resistance. The ball is constructed of heat treated and hard chrome plated alloy steel. A self-lubricating PTFE liner offers maintenance-free durability. Aurora AIB-T series.

These bearings are more expensive than the Aurora MIB Series Spherical Bearings, but the alloy steel race gives them a 50% higher static radial load rating than the MIB Series.
