* Our part number 3071-8 is a high-strength replacement for the low-quality bearing supplied on many racing shocks, including Penske 8100 and Bilstein large-body coilovers. Not all manufacturers use this size, so be sure to check yours before ordering!

Grumman grooves: "G" in the part number (e.g., 3071-10G) indicates that the bearing race has a Grumman groove and is designed to be staked into a special housing using a press and special Narrow Series Spherical Bearing Swaging Tools (Part No, 3078-001, sold separately). All circlip-retained installations, including our Spherical Bearing Weld Cups (Part No. 1825-150), can use either grooved or ungrooved versions. The groove doesn't reduce the static load rating.
